A group of Turkish lawmakers will be visiting Syria’s notorious Sednaya prison next week to investigate alleged human rights violations committed under Bashar Assad’s regime. Türkiye is ready to step in to mediate the recent tensions between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sudan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Friday, according to a Communications Directorate statement.
