In Diyarbakır, southeastern Türkiye, volunteer university students deliver extra food prepared in the dormitory kitchens to neighboring families every day. The Ministry of Youth and Sports launched the “My Neighbor Project” (“Komşum Projesi”) four years ago to prevent food waste in dormitory cafeterias and promote a sense of solidarity among students. The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has completed the renovation and repair works of two schools in the Kale-i Zal district of Afghanistan’s Kunduz province and inaugurated them with a ceremony. Acting president of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Yusuf Tancan announced that the e-Government Gateway, launched on Dec. 18, 2008, is celebrating its 16th anniversary this year. “Since 2008, the e-Government Gateway has been continuously evolving and currently provides 8,379 digital services from 1,079 institutions,” he said.
